A movie tribute to the infamous, Beatles. Its composed of many of their songs into a story plotline. This movie is magnificant in every possible way. If your a fan of art in your movies, check this one out. And yes, it is a musical. So if you are fans of the also magnificant Sweeney Todd, you’ll adore this. And it has the same indie film taste as Brick and Juno.
Across the Universe is based around the Vietnam war and people at home, with the revolutions and what not. And of course a little love story slipped in. The era of drugs. The scenes are fantastic with each time they get high. In that time, thats what it was all about sex, drugs, and alcohol, and fuuuunnn times. The movie exudes it on all levels.
This is definitely a must have. Its on my top favorite movies. Fan freaking tastic. Go watch it or else you just plain fail in life.
